Supply contract signed with HŽ Infrastructure for ATP systems

ZAGREB – on Monday 2nd of October 2017,  supply contract between HŽ Infrastruktura and ALTPRO was signed for procurement and installation of ATP systems on HŽ Infrastruktura special-purpose rail vehicles. Installation of the equipment will be done by the joint venture of RŽV Čakovec, OV, TŽV Gredelj, RPV Slavonski Brod and ALTPRO. The equipment will be implemented in the vehicles of the following producers – TMD (46), Plasser&Theurer (19), Robel (4), ROLBA (4), MTH Praha (1) and others. This cluster is going to offer the same service on export markets.

The contract was signed by the CEO of HŽ Infrastruktura Mr. Ivan Kršić and the director of the company ALTPRO Mr. Zvonimir Viduka. The installation contract was signed with Mr. Kršić as a representative of the Client, and Mr. Zvonimir Viduka as the representative of the joint venture companies.

“By installing an ATP device, the level of the railway network will increase. The conclusion of this agreement allows HŽ infrastruktura to fulfill the obligation to procure and install the ATP system in its vehicles by the 1st of July 2018, and we are obligated to comply with the changes to the Railway Safety and Interoperability Act” said Ivan Kršić, CEO of HŽ infrastruktura.

“The AUTOSTOP system, based on INDUSI technology, is a high-tech product that warns the driver or automatically brakes the train depending on vehicle speed data collected when passing through the signal signs on the track,” said Zvonimir Viduka, CEO of Altpro, and continued: “This system is resistant to all types of vibrations, impacts and shocks that arise during the exploitation of the railway vehicle and represents a complete solution of the safety system for railway vehicles and infrastructure based on the LOW COST-HIGH TECH model. It is adapted to communicate with other safety systems and with a unique European standard for safety, signalling and communication systems of the ETCS level”.
