The project, carried out in cooperation with Bombardier (now Alstom), was one of the most interesting in recent times. Bombardier was selected to supply the APM (Automatic People Mover) rolling stock for the Los Angeles Airport (LAX) system. Our team was chosen to provide a specialized train detection system capable of tracking this non-standard APM rolling stock. The entire line spans 3.6 kilometers and includes a total of 8 stations. This transportation system is expected to carry up to 84,000 passengers per week.
