ALTPRO won a project of modernizing 8 level crossing protection systems in one of Austria’s most beutiful valleys – Zillertal in Tyrol. Zillertal Railway a.k.a. Zillertalbahn is a private railway spanning over 32 kilometers in the valley and still has several steam locomotives along with diesel ones. We were selected as a preferred bidder to modernize this small but compact railway network with 8 of our modern level crossing protection systems RLC23. Our cloud based central diagnostic system CENDIS was implemented as well.
