ALTPRO welcomes ERCI General Assembly delegates to Velika Gorica

As part of the ERCI (European Railway Cluster Initiative) General Assembly program, held in Zagreb, ALTPRO had an honor of welcoming delegates to its production facility in Velika Gorica. Representatives from some of Europe’s most influential railway clusters visited the site, where they were introduced to ALTPRO’s cutting-edge production processes and innovative technologies.
ERCI’s plays important role in strenghtenign the European railway sector by connecting small and medium-sized enterprises, research institutes and large companies in joint innovation projects. ERCI brings together 18 clusters from 17 European countries, making it the largest specialized B2B network in the railway industry.
The newly elected ERCI Board of Directors consists of: President Dirk-Ulrich Krueger, CFA, Vice President Veronica Elena Bocci, Treasurer Bernard Piette, Director Operations Guido Ancarani, Member Ignasi Gomez Belinchon.
A highlight of the assembly was the presence of special guest Enno Wiebe, Director General of UNIFE, the European rail supply industry association. We were also honored by the attendance of Croatian MEP Nikolina Brnjac, who joined us for the official dinner hosted by ALTPRO.
During the facility tour, guest had the opportunity to get acquainted with ALTPRO’s high-tech and automated production which are used to produce signaling- safety systems for both infrastructure and rolling stock. Following the tour, ALTPRO Board Member, Tin Viduka presented the company’s latest solutions highlighting ongoing projects that will strenghten the position the company at the global market.
The event reaffirmed ALTPRO’s commitment for cooperation in European rail sector and confirmed its role in the European rail eco-system as a trusted supplier of world- class signalling and safety solutions.
