At the jubilee tenth Croatian edition of the prestigious global EY Entrepreneur of the Year program, Zvonimir Viduka, founder and director of ALTPRO, was named Croatia’s most successful entrepreneur for 2025.

According to the decision of an independent jury, Mr. Viduka was selected among 32 candidates from 26 successful Croatian companies, and among seven finalists from six companies. As the national winner, he will represent Croatia at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year competition in Monaco in May 2026, where the world’s best entrepreneurs will gather.

“By the decision of Croatian entrepreneurs, I received this award as Entrepreneur of the Year. I am happy that exactly 50 years ago my first device came to life, and 30 years of entrepreneurship have proven that life itself can be a hobby. I am truly honored to accept this recognition on behalf of the Croatian high-tech industrial electronics sector. Together, we are building a new economy, a testament to this country’s vision and its path towards entrepreneurship, knowledge, and a better future for our youth,” said Zvonimir Viduka in his acceptance speech.

This award represents a great recognition not only for our director but for the entire ALTPRO. Since our founding in 1994 in Zagreb, we have grown from a small company into a leading Croatian manufacturer and exporter of railway safety and signaling systems. We are proud that our commitment to innovation, quality, and knowledge has been recognized as an example of successful Croatian entrepreneurship.
