The first Velika Gorica Business Forum was held in the Business Incubator, where numerous entrepreneurs and businessmen gathered to exchange experiences and highlight the advantages of investing in Velika Gorica. This forum is aimed at stimulating further economic development and creating favorable conditions for doing business in that city.
Zvonimir Viduka, the owner and president of the board of ALTPRO, especially emphasized the excellent traffic connection and the availability of qualified workforce from technical schools as the key reasons for moving the production facility to Velika Gorica. During the forum, entrepreneurs shared their experiences about the speed of agreements and the realization of business plans in this city, and Viduka pointed out that entrepreneurs should be quick because they don’t have time for long-term thinking. For example, he agreed on a production space in Velika Gorica within one day and moved the entire production, technology and procurement over a few months.
The forum also enabled a better connection between local entrepreneurs and potential investors and promoted cooperation between the private sector and public institutions. Josip Bilaver, State Secretary in the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, emphasized that Velika Gorica and Zagreb County contribute to the fact that Croatia can boast one of the highest economic growth rates in the European Union, even in challenging circumstances.
This forum represents an important step in strengthening the business environment in Velika Gorica and opening up new opportunities for economic development.
