SIFA is a Dead man’s control system which is designed for all kinds of rail vehicles and consists of the control unit (UDB1 – stanalone or UD19 – evaluation board), the foot switch (UP1 or UP1-D) and the three-tone sound indicator (ZS24, ZS72, ZS110).

- Different types of device for different applications – UDB1 is a standalone device which can be implemented virtually anywhere in the cabin while UDB19 serves the same function but it is in a form of evaluation board and can be implemented in standard 19“ inch rack
- After fast braking initiated by the dead man’s control unit UDB1/UDB1-19, it is impossible to run the train again without correct service of the push button or of the foot switch. Moreover, to run the train again, an additional button has to be served to reset the dead man’s control unit.
