We were tasked to deliver INDUSI based ATP systems for new metro trains procured by Tyne and Wear Metro in Newcastle. Tyne and Wear Metro is an overground and underground light rail rapid transit system serving Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, and the City of Sunderland The trains on the project were delivered by the company Stadler. ALTPRO has also worked on metro system in Newcastle when we delivered first generation of ATP systems more than 15 years ago.
